A bespoke commission begins with a conversation. During the initial consultation, TBHC and the client discuss lifestyle, purpose, design ideas, COLOUR and fabric, setting the vision for the garment. From there, we take more than thirty measurements- capturing subtleties such as shoulder slope and posture to ensure a flawless fit. A unique paper pattern is then drafted from a blank sheet specifically for the client. Fabric is hand-cut and stitched by our artisans who align patterns and grains with precision. Multiple fittings follow, allowing adjustments to drape, mobility and details so the garment becomes an extension of the body. When the final piece is delivered, it's more than clothing, it's the culmination of craftsmanship and collaboration.

At Tristan Brew Haute Couture, our bespoke journey is intertwined with Ghanaian heritage. Kente cloth, a national textile made of hand-woven strips of silk and cotton originated in the Ashanti region and was historically worn by Kings and queens only. Today, authentic kente is still woven by master artisans for special occasions including bridal. Each pattern carries a name or message; Ghanaians choose cloths as much for their meanings as their colours, something you take part in when you choose to work with our bespoke team. Motifs are named after proverbs, historical events, important chiefs or plants, turning the fabric into a visual archive of values and stories. By integrating kente into bespoke garments, we fuse the wearer's personal narrative with a cultural tradition that honours ancestry and identity.
